Heat-pumps in the Shield-Wall

The government’s 10-point plan for a Green Industrial Revolution sets a target of installing 600,000 heat-pumps per year in homes. This sounds like a lot. There are however about 24 million homes in this country. So the process of conversion will take 40 years! This is more time than we have, this being a climate emergency and everything. The government needs to push harder! Tell ’em!
