The value of the climate!? Sir, I must protest..

In November 2020 the government set out a 10-point plan for ” A Green Industrial Revolution” to make the UK carbon-neutral by 2050. It estimates the cost to the public purse at £12 billion. For comparison, the cost of HS2 is put at over seven times as much. Can this be true? Is the climate worth a seventh as much as a railway line? If you don’t think so, share you opinion with the Chancellor.
