Regional policy against local unemployment

All regions and communities need jobs! Opening – for example – a colliery is one way to provide them but this comes at a huge cost to the climate. The government must, must, must work to provide jobs – ideally, green ones – throughout the country. Regional subsidies, investment and training are the levers that must be pulled.
